Our Journey to Statewide Foster Care
Family Ministries Foster Care began its mission in 2017 as the Young Children’s Home, created with the primary goal of providing homes for large sibling groups who had experienced abuse, abandonment, or neglect. It quickly became clear that the need for more homes was great, and we realized the incredible opportunity we had to help even more children and families.By the end of 2020, Family Ministries Foster Care was born. Since then, we’ve been licensing, training, and supporting foster families, initially focusing on the seven counties closest to our campus: Logan, Scott, Yell, Sebastian, Crawford, Franklin, and Johnson. Today, we’re excited to share that our recruitment efforts have expanded to encompass the entire state!
